CHANEL by Denez Emerald glass cabochons earrings 1970
Rare and elegant work of the house Denez for Chanel, clip-on earrings from the 60s, early 70s composed of green glass paste cabochons (gripoix style) set in refined gilt metal frames with softly rounded geometric lines. Minimalist composition perfectly reflects the sophisticated and modern jewelry developed for Chanel during the 1970s.
Signed CHANEL.
Created in 1965, Denise Boucherie founded the Denez workshop, which remained active until 1975. The atelier worked mainly for Yves Saint Laurent for nearly ten years, but also created beautiful pieces for Mademoiselle Chanel. Denez creations made for Chanel are particularly rare to find.
